Stage One: London to Newhaven, 105 km
saturday 2nd may 2026
The route starts from Greenwich at 3 pm and rides out of London towards Surrey. Once past the M25, it follows quiet country lanes, weaving through beautiful English countryside and rolling hills, taking on the North Downs. As the sun is setting, you will climb over the South Downs and enjoy a long descent past Lewes and into Newhaven where the ferry awaits.
Newhaven to Dieppe, Overnight Ferry Crossing: 4 hours
After a hearty refuel at our feed stop in Newhaven and the chance to put on more layers from your kit bags, you will board the ferry and find somewhere to rest your head for a few hours. The ferry departs from Newhaven, UK at 23:00 and arrives in Dieppe, France four hours later at 04:00am. Note: France is one hour ahead of UK time.
There are options to purchase food and drink in the restaurants on the ferry.
Stage Two: Dieppe to Paris, 195 km
Sunday 3rd may
This is where the adventure begins! Arriving in France at 5am, it will be straight on your bike and making tracks towards Paris. Cycling through the night along quiet roads in France is an experience you will never forget. As the first rays of dawn peak over the horizon, the sunrise will illuminate everything and bring a new day in which you will complete this epic challenge. You will experience the world waking up around you whilst you cruise through Northern France on route to Paris. The team will do all they can to ensure you arrive in Paris within 24 hours, this is very possible for anyone with cycling experience and a thirst for adventure.
By 2pm, riders will be arriving in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. You can laugh, cry, hug, take selfies with your bike above your head. You've done it!! Sophie’s Mum comes over from London to greet you and give you your well-earned medal and a big hug! Receive your finishers medal, a celebratory glass of bubbly and congratulations from fellow riders, Sophie Roberts, our crew and friends and family.
CELEBRATING IN PARIS
Once checked into the hotel, you can bask in the glory of your achievement and celebrate. Included in the price of your ticket will be a celebration meal which is a real highlight of the adventure. A chance to share stories with your new found adventure buddies, sharing the highs and lows. Look forward to prizes, drinks, high fives and the best sleep you’ve ever had.
monday 4th may (Bank Holiday)
Our crew will transport your bike back to London to a depot in Islington which is a short taxi ride away, all you have to do is make your own way there and collect your bike. You are responsible for your own transport from Paris to London - suggested via Eurostar. You can pick your bike up from 2pm to 6pm. If you wish to stay another day in Paris please book additional storage at the checkout and we can arrange for you to pick your bike up on a different day.
